QuizNest (“we”, “our app”, “the Service”) lets people answer trivia questions, compete on leader-boards and track their progress. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how you can control it.
1. Information we collect

We do not request location, contacts, camera, microphone, or local files.
2. How we use your information
- Provide core functions: gameplay, leader-boards, endless mode.
- Personalise or limit ads via Google AdMob.
- Analyse crashes and usage with Firebase Crashlytics / Analytics.
- Send important service e-mails (e.g. policy changes) to signed-in users.

We never sell your personal data. Providers process it only to perform services on our behalf.
4. Data retention
- Account & gameplay history — kept until you request deletion (see Section 6) or are inactive for 24 months.
- Crash & analytics logs — 14 months (Firebase default).
- Advertising ID — reset if you reset the ID in Android settings.
5. Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest on Google Cloud. Access is restricted to authorised staff under written confidentiality agreements.
6. Your choices & rights
- Delete your account & data: Email thecrowndev@gmail.com from your Google-signed-in address with the subject “Delete QuizNest account”. We erase your data within 7 days and confirm by e-mail.
- Opt-out of personalised ads: Android Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalisation.
- GDPR/CCPA rights (access, correction, portability): contact us at the same address.
Note: QuizNest currently requires Google Sign-in; playing without an account is not supported.
7. Children
QuizNest is not directed to children under 13. If we learn we collected personal data from a child, we delete it promptly.
